More About Your Doula

Bringing a baby into the world is one of life's biggest adventures. It's exciting, overwhelming, beautiful, exhausting, and sometimes all before breakfast. Andrea feels incredibly fortunate to support families through every stage of that journey, helping them feel informed, cared for, and a little less alone.

For more than a decade, Andrea has been supporting families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, infant feeding, and sleep. Her goal has never been to tell parents what they should do. Instead, she believes every family deserves evidence informed information, compassionate support, and the confidence to make decisions that feel right for them.

Andrea's journey as a doula began after recognizing just how much support families were missing during one of the biggest transitions of their lives. What started as a passion for birth naturally grew into postpartum care, lactation support, and holistic infant and family sleep support.

As someone who is neurodivergent herself, Andrea understands that there is no one size fits all approach to parenting. She values flexibility, curiosity, and meeting families where they are, creating a space where families feel understood, supported, and free from judgment.

Families often describe Andrea as calm, approachable, and reassuring, with a knack for making even the hardest days feel a little lighter. She believes humour belongs in parenting, perfection does not, and that confidence grows when parents feel genuinely seen and supported.

When she's not working with families, Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, reading, swimming, being outdoors, and spending time with her dogs.

Andrea believes there is no single "right" way to parent, but every family deserves to feel supported while discovering what works best for them. She's honoured to be part of that journey.
